Question about model trains?

I just use plastic model buildings because I am familiar with plastic models. So far my models have been built according to the instructions. I will be doing some aging and other small changes this fall. I might do some kit-bashing in the future but it will all be with plastic models....

Mackinac Island itself does not require a ticket, just the ferry boat ride over to it. Are you talking two DCC (Digital Command Control) Trains running on two parallel main tracks in a rough oval shape with a cross-over or two ?? DCC permits you to run the two trains at the same time without different power-blocks. Also DCC is AC power based, so you won't have problems with polarity as you cross over.
